The young jewellery designer, Begüm Khan has offered some Sharpei Harem bronze earrings plated with 24k gold and set with crystals. Very attached to her Ottoman cultural heritage, Begüm works only with Turkish craftsmen. She uses silver, vermeil, crystals and gemstones for her jewellery inspired by mystical symbolism, real or enchanted flora or fauna.
The landscape gardener Fernando Caruncho has donated one of his beautiful copper lanterns, hand-made in his workshop in Madrid. This object of light, called "candil" in Spanish, means little lantern. It is created to find light in these uncertain days. You will always be able to take with you a souvenir of the Nuit de Spirite that took place in the Gardens of the Palais Royal in Paris on December 3rd.
French architect Charles Zana has also decided to participate in the sale in giving the prototype of a marble vase he created in 2016. I have thought a lot about our seniors during these weeks of lockdown and the dedication of all nursing home staff. This vase is a prototype, an idea I had four years ago to create sculptural vases like Chinese dream stones. This vase was made in the Carrara workshops. Ive been living with this vase in my office for four years and I like to get lost in my thoughts while looking at it!
Favori and Laurence Benaïm would like to thank the 200 talents from the worlds of fashion, art, gastronomy and design who are participating in this project by offering unique pieces to support these everyday heroes: healthcare personnel, nurses, animators, working to preserve the well-being of a population with reduced autonomy. 100% of the funds raised from this unique sale will be donated to support initiatives for the staff, who are in particular in dire need of protective equipment.
