Marilyn Monroe by Jack Cardiff.

LONDON,ENGLAND.- The Royal College of Art in London presents an exhibition of the photography of Oscar-winning cinematographer Jack Cardiff. Cardiff himself visited the exhibition - which contains his photographs of Marilyn Monroe, Sophia Loren and Audrey Hepburn - on Wednesday.
"We became close friends on The Prince and the Showgirl and I was able to see at first hand the incredible magic that came out in screen in spite of all her problems," Cardiff says of Monroe.
Breakfast at Tiffany's star Audrey Hepburn worked with Jack Cardiff on the 1956 film War and Peace, which also starred Henry Fonda and Anita Ekberg.
"She had a perfect, classical face with large, voluminous eyes. Her ballet training made her walk with sleek grace and she positively radiated elegant refinement."
Jack Cardiff and Sophia Loren worked together on 1957's Legends of The Lost, but were friends before the cameras rolled on the film.
"It was many years ago but I can honestly say I discovered her and made her first screen test. When she became an international star everybody fell in love with her and even today her beauty shines on."
