NEW YORK, NEW YORK.-Bryce Wolkowitz Gallery announces a new exhibition of works by painter and photographer Catherine Feric. The show will be on view from April 30 through June 5, 2004 with an opening reception on Thursday, April 29, 2004, from 6 to 8pm.

Catherine Feric works through a combination of photographic and painting techniques. She adds to the surface of the photographic image her imagined impressions and recollections of past events. Through this play between reality and fiction, Feric creates an autobiographical world of lush textures and seductive hues. This will be her first exhibition in New York and will feature over 30 recent works.Bryce Wolkowitz Gallery is a new contemporary art gallery that is dedicated to the exhibition, study, and sale of moving image and photographic works. It opened to the public in September 2003. It is located at 601 West 26th Street, Suite 1240. The gallery is open Tuesday – Saturday, 11AM – 6PM.
