On July 22nd, 2021 The Warehouse had the honor of welcoming a visit from the Japanese Consul General Kenichi Okada to experience our current exhibition Art Japan: 2021-1921. Impressed with the collection on display, Consul-General Okada had the following to say: "I strongly hope that Art Japan: 2021-1921 will strengthen the understanding and interest in Japanese art and culture among the citizens of Milwaukee and Wisconsin, as well as contribute to the development of mutual understanding and friendship between Japan and the United States."
