Pre-Columbian & Greek Terracotta Heads, Figures & Ocarina - Lot of 12. Pre-Columbian, Mexico, Guatemala and Costa Rica; and Mediterranean, Greek, Hellenistic period, ca. 300 BCE – 1500 CE. A varied assembly of twelve terracotta fragments and small forms drawn from two ancient worlds. Eleven derive from Pre-Columbian Mesoamerica and Central America, the workshops of Mexico, Guatemala, and Costa Rica: molded and hand-formed heads with almond eyes and full lips, appliqued visages framed by ornament, a strap handle bearing traces of red slip, and a hollow zoomorphic ocarina still capable of song. Devonian Trilobite Fossils - Six in Matrices. North Africa, Morocco, Devonian period, ca. 419.2 to 358.9 million years ago. A visually rich group of six trilobite fossils showcases these ancient arthropods preserved within their original stone matrices, representing examples from the orders Ptychopariida and Phacopida. Each specimen offers a distinct impression of form and preservation, unified by their shared origin in the Devonian seas. Estimate: $1,200 - $1,800.

Three Byzantine Post-Medieval Bronze Crosses - Greek-Inscribed Reliquary. Ancient Near East & Europe, Byzantine Empire to Post-Medieval era, ca. 600–1800 CE. Three bronze and brass crosses; two from the Byzantine to early medieval era. The largest is a cast bronze reliquary cross (encolpion) formed of two hinged halves, with a suspension loop, latched base, and incised Greek inscriptions. Estimate: $400 - $600.

Tlatilco Pottery Rattle Figure - Seated Nude Female, Possible Birthing Pose. Pre-Columbian, Mexico, Tlatilco, ca. 1200–900 BCE. A hollow burnished terracotta figure of a seated nude woman, her legs drawn wide from full, rounded thighs, her body caught in a moment of visceral concentration. The proper right hand rises to an open, parted mouth while the left presses against a swollen abdomen, a gesture that reads convincingly as parturition. Estimate: $800 - $1,200.

19th C. World Postage Stamps - Group of 72, British Empire & Colonial. International, various nations and colonial administrations, ca. 1850–1940 CE. A wide-ranging assembly of roughly seventy-two postage stamps, predominantly used and cancelled, gathered across nearly a century of philatelic history. The lot draws its breadth from the far corners of the British Empire and beyond. Estimate: $800 - $1,200.

18th C. Spanish Colonial Hide-Covered Document Box - Iron Lock & Brass Tacks. Spanish Colonial, Americas, ca. 1700–1799 CE. A domed-lid casket of pine sheathed in hair-on hide, its rawhide skin worn to a mottled chamois and umber surface where the original pelt has rubbed away. Rows of domed brass tacks march along every edge, securing the hide and tracing a scalloped collar around the wrought-iron carrying handle on the lid. Estimate: $800 - $1,200.

Caddo Engraved Pottery Bowl - Scroll & Punctate Banded Carinated Vessel. Native American, Caddo, ca. 1300–1600 CE. A carinated earthenware bowl rising from a sharply angled lower body to flaring walls, its burnished surface carrying the muted browns and smoky grays of pit firing. Beneath the rim runs a register of fine engraved horizontal lines, while the carination is encircled by a band of incised scrolls punctuated with rows of small impressed dots, a rhythmic interplay of line and point characteristic of Caddo potters of the Trans-Mississippi South. Estimate: $800 - $1,200.

Two Traditional South American Aymara Woven Wool Shawls. South America, Bolivia / Peru, Aymara or Quechua culture, ca. mid to late 20th century CE. A pair of handwoven wool shawls, each with a deep brown to near-black ground framed by bands of patterning in vibrant colors. Both are probably handwoven on backstrap looms, creating two panels that are then seemed up the center to create one large shawl. Size of largest: 52" L x 42.5" W (132.1 cm L x 108.0 cm W).
