In this picture taken on February 8, 2021, tsunami survivor Nayuta Ganbe shows the name of his friend who was killed during Japan's devastating 2011 tsunami, written on a memorial monument at the Disaster Recovery Memorial Museum in Higashimatsushima, Miyagi prefecture. The children of the tsunami lost family, homes, schools and entire communities, and for some the experience sparked a drive to work in disaster awareness, or help children like them who have lived with tragedy. A breastplate and a ceremonial helmet, two "exceptional" objects from the Italian Renaissance, were handed over by the police to the Louvre museum after being found in Bordeaux during an auction linked to an estate. These objects, which belonged to the collection of the Baroness de Rothschild, had been donated to the Louvre in 1922 and stolen in 1983. Estimates say they are worth around 500,000 euros.
