LONDON.- The fifth instalment of MULTIPLIED, the UK’s only art fair dedicated to contemporary prints and editions, will return to Christie’s South Kensington this autumn. Open to the public from 17-20 October 2014, the Fair will take place during Frieze Week, one of the most important periods in the contemporary art calendar.

Forty contemporary galleries from around the world will showcase an extensive and eclectic range of prints, photography, digital art, artist books and multiples. As well as featuring works by established stars of the contemporary art world, including Damien Hirst, Gary Hume, William Kentridge, Sarah Lucas, Daido Moriyama, Cornelia Parker, Yinka Shonibare, David Shrigley, Gavin Turk and Rachel Whiteread, the Fair will also showcase exciting, emerging talent from leading graduate institutions such as the Slade School of Fine Art, the Royal College of Art and the University of the Arts London. Among this year’s exhibitors, several of which are new to the Fair in 2014, are BEARSPACE, Flowers Gallery, Galerie Alex Daniels - Reflex Amsterdam, Keystone Editions, Marc Quinn, Modern Art Oxford, Parasol Unit Foundation for Contemporary Art, Paul Stolper Gallery, Tristan Barbarà editions and the Whitechapel Gallery.

The Fair will stage a tailored events programme, including artist talks, panel discussions and special projects. New for 2014 is the introduction of Live Printing sessions in association with Rabley Contemporary and CFPR Editions, where artists will make prints and host printmaking demonstrations onsite in front of a live audience. Different aspects of printing will be explored, including traditional printmaking methods as well as the latest in 3-D printing techniques. The full events programme will be confirmed shortly.

Murray Macaulay, Director of Multiplied, said: “The contemporary prints and editions on show at Multiplied exemplify the vibrancy of art being created right now by emerging and established artists around the world. With exhibitors attending from throughout Europe and the Americas, a stimulating programme of artist talks, live printing events and new edition launches, Multiplied 2014 will provide a fresh perspective on this dynamic artistic field.”
