MOSCOW.- A file photo taken on May 23, 2007 shows a visitor looking at a painting of former Russian spy Alexander Litvinenko, by Russian painters Dmitry Vrubel and Viktoria Timofeyeva on display at the Marat Guelman gallery in Moscow. The British government on July 22, 2014 announced a public inquiry into the death of Alexander Litvinenko, the Russian dissident who was poisoned in London with radioactive tea in 2006. The move comes as Britain presses for further sanctions against Russia over the downing of a passenger plane over eastern Ukraine, allegedly by pro-Moscow separatists. AFP PHOTO / NATALIA KOLESNIKOVA.
