I believe it is reaching that impossible dream that every man has in life.

Artdaily is the outcome of 44 years of writing, editing, and in summary, communicating.

I ask permission of our readers and visitors for writing in first person. This newspaper is the reason for fighting daily to communicate to those that are in the art world or that enjoy it.

We believe, in part, that we have reached this, nevertheless, there is a lot to be done, much more.

Our goal will always be unreachable as the internet world always offers new things.

And to be up to date, we have to, fortunately, work every day, be alert and with open eyes.

If Artdaily was established in 1996, being The First Art newspaper on the Net, it was not our first work in this field.

Before we had launched the Museos magazine, in its printed version as well as an online one.

We are talking about 1995, when only the word Internet provoked fear to those that did not know about it.

Many museums did not have their own websites. There were a few that were on the internet.

Here in Artdaily we produced, on our behalf but always with the authorization of these museums, web pages for them.

Thus we got to have more than 150 museums, a record for those times.

Today, luckily, things have changed. Now we live in constant evolution within the revolution that internet has been.

We hope to make a better newspaper, we believe we are in the avant guarde, to be the meeting point of art professionals or art lovers. Here we include, of course those that study art.
