Celebrate Spring at Art Alive 2005
SAN DIEGO, CA.- Experience the vibrant energy of over 100 fresh floral interpretations of works in the Museum’s renowned collections at the 24th celebration of SDMA’s highly anticipated springtime tradition, Art Alive. A highlight of this year’s extravaganza will be the dazzling floral design work by the internationally recognized ambassador of the floral industry, René van Rems, in the Museum’s historic rotunda. The exhibition will be open to the public from Friday, May 13, through Sunday, May 15, with special evening hours (until 9:00 p.m.) on Friday. There will also be a special members-only preview on Thursday, May 12, from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.
