Julien's Auctions names Tim Luke Executive Director, Contemporary and Street Art
Luke’s impressive career in the auction world has spanned over two decades, most recently as President of TreasureQuest Group, Inc.

LOS ANGELES, CA.- Julien’s Auctions, the world-record breaking auction house to the stars, has named industry veteran and auctioneer Tim Luke as Executive Director, Contemporary and Street Art. He will be managing and maintaining the international auction house’s successful development of the contemporary and street art global auction markets. He will also manage Julien’s highly successful partnership with Artsy, the digital leader and top resource for buying, collecting and fine arts education. Luke’s impressive career in the auction world has spanned over two decades, most recently as President of TreasureQuest Group, Inc. As President, he was responsible for evaluating fine art collections, and preparing USPAP compliant estate, donation and insurance appraisals. Tim is frequently called on as an expert witness in the areas of auction, personal property valuations and appraisal report reviews. He has also appeared as a participating appraiser for the first nine seasons of “Antiques Roadshow” on PBS in addition to Oprah, Today, and Strange Inheritance.

“I’m thrilled to be joining the team at Julien’s Auctions. To have the opportunity to expand the collecting genre of street art and contemporary art at auction from collections internationally is an exciting challenge,” stated Luke, who hits the ground running with an Artsy online auction closing on July 20, 2017.

From 1990 to 1996, Tim was Director of Collectibles and an auctioneer at Christies, the international fine arts auction house.
