An Indispensable Guide for Collectors & Allied Professionals
Will Launch at Closing Reception

To help collectors and allied professionals know what questions to ask – and to illuminate challenging issues that may not have been anticipated – the Appraisers Association of America has created “The Experts’ Guide to Collecting.” It will launch at the closing reception.

“In a time of economic uncertainty and highly publicized art thefts and damages, knowing how to value, protect and maintain a collection is increasingly important,” said Aleya Lehmann-Bench, Executive Director.

Caring for works of art and other valuables requires specific expertise in each phase of the ownership process, so knowing the right questions to ask and how to find to identify trustworthy experts is crucial. Full details and review copies are available on request.
