HONG KONG.- Fine Art Asia 2010 returns to the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre from 3-6 October 2010. The fair is now recognized as Asia’s premier annual art fair presenting a unique combination of Art and Antiques.

Rare Himalayan bronzes, Chinese ceramics and works of art, furniture, textiles and jades will be featured in the Antiques section; while this year the Art section has expanded to showcase an exceptional selection of art from the 17th century to the present day. Highlights include important Old Master Paintings, and outstanding Modern & Contemporary works of art by celebrated artists including Marc Chagall, Pablo Picasso, Joan Miró, Emile-Antoine Bourdelle, Andy Warhol and Damien Hirst.

Andy Hei, Founder and Director of FINE ART ASIA 2010, said: “FINE ART ASIA 2010 is the only fair in Asia where the link between tradition and modernity, East and West, can be seen and appreciated under one roof.

“The fair acts as a bridge between East and West, bringing together an amazing range of artworks, from Antiques to Old Masters, Modern and Contemporary Art, exhibited by leading galleries from all over the world. “

“This year, we have witnessed further signs of strength in the Asian art market. I am confident that Hong Kong will continue to grow as the hub of art business in Asia and play a vital role in the global art scene.

This will be the 6th edition of the fair. The high reputation which the fair has earned since its foundation in 2006, ensures that it coincides with Sotheby’s Autumn Auctions in the same venue. Early October is the peak art season in Hong Kong, attracting major international dealers and collectors from around the world.

Renowned antiques galleries participating in FINE ART ASIA 2010 include Rossi & Rossi (London, UK), Robert Hall (London, UK), Nicholas Grindley Works of Art (Suffolk, UK), Marcus Flacks (New York, USA), M & C Gallery (Hong Kong), Ever Arts Gallery (Hong Kong) and Martin Fung Ltd (Hong Kong). Leading art galleries include Michael Goedhuis (London), Adam Williams (New York), Amells (Sweden, UK), Sundaram Tagore Gallery (New York, Beverly Hills, Hong Kong), Russeck Gallery (USA), Maison d’Art (Monaco), Grotto Fine Art (Hong Kong), Galerie du Monde (Hong Kong), Edouard Malingue Gallery (Hong Kong) and art jewellery designers Wallace Chan and Kai-Yin Lo (Hong Kong).
