COPENHAGEN, DENMARK.-ART Copenhagen 2005, The Nordic Art Fair, opens today until September 18, 2005. With participation of the leading Nordic galleries, ART Copenhagen provides a unique and complete view into the Nordic art life.

ART Copenhagen is a strong Nordic meeting place for galleries, collectors, artists, art enthusiasts and museums, where once a year they have an outstanding opportunity to meet under one roof in central Copenhagen.

Only Nordic galleries can apply to the fair and participation is by approval by the selection committe only. Visitors at ART Copenhagen can hear talks and interviews with artists at the Art Café. Please note that these will be in Danish expect for the talk "Art collecting", Saturday at 4 pm. Hear about art collecting and meet Wilfried Cooreman from Belgium and Leif Djurhuus from Denmark, who are both passionate art collectors. Wilfried Cooreman will also be showing pictures of some of the pieces from his collection.
