MADRID, SPAIN.-Guillermo Solana was named new director of the Thyssen Museum at the board meeting that took place this week. Nine out of the twelve board members attended the meeting to name the new director. Board members architect Rafael Moreno, President of Caja Madrid Miguel Blesa and Secretary of Budget and Income Miguel Ángel Fernández Ordoñez were not able to attend this meeting.
