NASHVILLE, TN.- Wil Elder has been named Vice President of Development and Marketing at Cheekwood Botanical Garden & Museum of Art. Wil comes to Nashville after having served as the Major Gifts Officer at McCallie School in Chattanooga for over five years.

With his recognized talents, he brings a wealth of experience to us that will be significant in overseeing our marketing and development efforts. At McCallie School in Chattanooga, Wil gained extensive development experience in the area of major gifts, planned gifts, and capital campaigns. He helped lead the institutions efforts to connect to a wide variety of audiences. Prior to his work in Chattanooga, Wil was Director of Development at Lausanne Collegiate School in Memphis. Wil is a graduate of Presbyterian College in Clinton, SC and has an M.Ed in Educational Leadership from the University of Tennessee, Chattanooga.
