SAO PAULO.- Brazilian police have recovered the final piece of artwork that was stolen during a daylight heist at the Estacao Pinacoteca Museum in Sao Paulo on June 12.

According to police Picasso’s “Minotaur, Drinker and Women” was discovered in a wooded area along the side of a highway near Sao Paulo. That print was the fourth and final piece missing from the robbery, the others being another Picasso, “The Painter and the Model,” Emiliano DiCavalcanti’s “Women at the Window” and Lasar Segall’s “Couple.”

Two weeks ago, Brazilian police announced they had recovered two art works stolen together with two picasso works from the Pinacoteca Museum of Sao Paulo in June. A second suspect, Edmilson Silva do Nascimento, a 29-year-old bakery manager, was also arrested at his home on Sao Paulo's east side that Wednesday night.

Police found under his bed the two works: a print titled "The Couple" by Lasar Segall (1891-1957), and the painting "Women in a Window" by Emiliano Di Cavalcanti (1897-1976), one of Brazil's most well known painters. According to the Sao Paulo state Culture Secretariat, the works are worth around $633,000.

Three armed thieves walked into the Pinacoteca on June 12 and held security guards at gunpoint while they completed the theft. The thieves also took two prints by the Pablo picasso -- "The Painter and the Model" from 1963 and "Minotaur, Drinker and Women" from 1933.

Earlier police arrested a suspect at the time they recovered "The Painter and the Model" by picasso. This was the second theft in less than a year of picasso works in Brazil.
