LONDON.- Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill celebrates its association with the international art world with a new exhibition in partnership with the Saatchi Gallery, London’s leading contemporary art gallery.

Burning Bright is the third in a series of exhibitions taking place at the hotel and opened on Wednesday 20 February. The exhibition features a selection of works from Saatchi Online, all of which are available for sale. Saatchi Online is the online platform launched by the Saatchi Gallery to give emerging artists the chance to showcase and sell their work to art lovers all over the world. It is now the largest online art gallery in the world.

Burning Bright celebrates the spirit of the partnership between the Saatchi Gallery and Hyatt Regency London – The Churchill by sharing ‘the new talent of today and the great talent of tomorrow’ with the thousands of guests who visit the hotel every week. This dynamic exhibition gives hotel guests a unique opportunity to interact with contemporary art from around the world outside the normal art environment of a gallery or museum, with the added bonus of enabling them to purchase works of art at reasonable prices.

The exhibition features stunning works by rising stars such as Daisy Clarke who has previously exhibited at the Dulwich Picture Gallery and the Royal Academy of Arts, London, and counts among her collectors Hugh Grant and Jeremy Irons; Michael Newton, long-listed for the prestigious John Moores Painting Prize in 2012; Geoff Diego Litherland, who graduated in 2012 from Goldsmith College, London where he won the Warden’s Purchase Prize; and Heloise Delegue, a recent graduate of the Sorbonne in Paris.

The exhibition also includes two key pieces from the Saatchi Gallery’s collection: Ben Mayman’s Praying Mantis and LittleWhitehead’s It Happened in the Corner.

In addition, the Hotel in association with the Republic of Fritz Hansen has created a new Saatchi Suite for guests to stay in and experience contemporary art unlike any other space in London. The Saatchi Suite will showcase a selection of promising emerging artists, giving people a chance to discover exciting works by future art stars. All items in the suite will be available for sale. Highlights include: collages by Kazuya Tsuji, a recent graduate of Chelsea College of Art and Design in London; new paintings by Alex Hanna who has exhibited at the BP Portrait Award at the Naitonal Gallery in London; and Effects of the Earth’s Motions, a wall-based installation by Chantal Powell, who has previously exhibited at the Venice Biennale. In addition, artist Celine Fitoussi has covered the entire bathroom of the suite with a bespoke wall-to-wall soap installation.

The Saatchi Gallery Suite will be furnished with iconic pieces from world-renowned Danish design brand Republic of Fritz Hansen™. Established in 1872, Fritz Hansen has worked with a variety of the most influential architects and designers including Arne Jacobsen, Cecilie Manz and Jaime Hayon to name but a few.

Throughout 2013, the suite will be adorned with specially curated pieces by celebrated Danish designer Poul Kjaerholm whose sophisticated furniture currently graces the Museum of Modern Art, New York, amongst other notable landmarks. On display will be some of Kjaerholm's most recognisable designs including the PK80™ daybed, the PK22™ lounge chair and the PK9™ dining chair. On display will also be an exclusive Lissoni Sofa™ by Piero Lissoni in upholstery textile POINT by Sir Paul Smith and the Suite will be lit by a collection of lamps from the Kaiser idell™ lighting collection which became part of Fritz Hansen's main collection in 2010.

For art and design aficionados and collectors around the world or for those who are looking to enjoy a unique opportunity, this Saatchi Suite, is a must-do experience.
