PALM BEACH, FL.- ArtPalmBeach celebrates its 16th Anniversary at the Palm Beach County Convention Center from January 25th-28th, 2013 with a Preview evening January 24th.

Widely recognized by both critics and art enthusiasts as one of the most influential contemporary art fairs on Florida's Gold Coast, the fair continues to grow in recognition and esteem each year. The fair's careful dealer selection process creates an outstanding presentation featuring all forms of contemporary art including painting, sculpture, photography, design, fine art glass, video and installation from modern art to new cutting-edge artists. ArtPalmBeach offers the community an extensive four day lecture and panel series from some of the art world’s leading experts. To enhance collectors' art fair experience, ArtPalmBeach supports major art installations by conceptual artists and curated exhibitions. Through this cohesive and unique program, ArtPalmBeach delivers a dynamic art fair that meets the high standards of the distinguished exhibitors and collectors that attend the fair each year.

ArtPalmBeach welcomes back many returning exhibitors in 2013 and introduces first time exhibitors from Russia, Korea, Lebanon, China, Argentina, France, Switzerland, Belgium, Mexico, United Kingdom and the United States. The fair is comprised of over eighty international galleries and fifteen site specific installations and artist project spaces. Over 500 artists from thirteen countries will be exhibited at the fair during Palm Beach’s Art Week of museum openings, Fotofusion, gallery walks and art performances.

The fair will honor the lifetime accomplishments of Italian master Lino Tagliapietra and will feature a one-man exhibition of major works presented by Schantz Galleries. Recently lauded with two Doctorates, Lino Tagliapietra is one of the world’s most accomplished artists working with art studio glass. He has been exhibiting in museums around the globe, receiving countless honors, openly sharing his far-reaching knowledge of the medium and his skill as one of its finest practitioners, and helping to create a new renaissance in studio glassmaking.

Additional 2013 fair highlights:
Long-Sharp Gallery (Indianapolis) will exhibit “Politics, Peace and Passion, Reprise.” The tightly curated exhibition explores the influence of renowned 20th century masters on a group of contemporary artists. This edition will challenge audiences by drawing parallels between artists motivated by similar causes, and with Gino Miles, introduces the juxtaposition of different mediums that speaks to the very root of Pop Art.

The Leslie Smith Gallery of Amsterdam will introduce Shanghai’s Simon Ma to the Palm Beach art scene, one of China’s most well known and internationally acclaimed artists. Simon Ma has created quite a legacy, collaborating successfully as an artistic designer with various major international brands such as Lamborghini, Porsche, Ferrari and Ducati. His designs, such as the “Art Bubble Chair,” have been exhibited in the Museum of Contemporary Art Shanghai.
