MADRID.- From 16th to 21st February 2010, Art Madrid will produce its 5th Edition at the Pabellón de Cristal de la Casa de Campo in Madrid. The fair is scheduled for 60 galleries selected among the most prestigious names of the national and international scene, and will show the work made by major contemporary artists. The organization estimates that the fair will receive over 40,000 visitors.

Art Madrid will host for the second consecutive year, a space dedicated to emerging art as part of the Young Art program, which integrates young galleries and artists.

Moreover, the fair will work within the Official Program created for the Independence Bicentennial Commemoration of Latin American countries. For this reason, it will feature an exclusive space dedicated to this event, with an exhibition showing the work of emerging Latin American artists living in Spain.

Another innovation is the recent Art Madrid´s Collection with unique works on paper. Its goal will be original works on paper (not serial) by Contemporary Spanish artists.

• Art Madrid is the second largest fair in the Spanish Contemporary Art scene, by number of galleries and occupied space, intended mainly for collectors.

• The fair will be involved in The Independence Bicentennial Commemoration of Latin American countries, with an exhibition of emerging artists.

• There is a new VIP program designed for collectors.

• Another innovation is the creation of the Art Madrid Collection of unique works on paper.

Finally, Art Madrid 2010 will have a new VIP program for collectors.
