GREAT FALLS, MT.- The Board of Directors of the
C.M. Russell Museum has announced that Darrell G. Beauchamp, Ed.D., is the new Executive Director for the Russell Museum. Beauchamp comes to the Museum from Texas where he owned and operated Beauchamp Western Art.
David Solberg, Chairman of the C.M. Russell Museum Board of Directors commented, "We are enormously pleased to have a man of Darrell's capability and passion lead the C.M. Russell Museum."
"I am honored to have been chosen by the Board of Directors of the C.M. Russell Museum to be the next Executive Director," said Beauchamp. "I look forward to working with the many fine professionals associated with the Museum. The Russell Museum is, without a doubt, one of the finest Museums in the country and I can't wait to be a part of it."
He has previously served as Executive Director of the National Western Art Foundation in San Antonio, Texas, and at Navarro College in Corsicana, Texas served as the Director of the Pearce Museums as well as the Dean of Libraries and Special Collections. Beauchamp has a Doctor of Education from Texas A&M University - Commerce in Commerce, Texas.
Beauchamp is married with three children. He loves the outdoors and is an avid fly fisherman and Boy Scout leader. Darrell will start in late July.
