Sculpture Park Signed Management Agreement with the City of Miami Beach
At Valentino Sul Mare Restaurant, City of Miami Beach Mayor Matti Herrera Bower and Altos del Mar President Dr. Marlene Saile signed a formal management agreement.
MIAMI, FL.- Government, art, education and other community leaders of Miami Beach joined together with excited project affiliates from Altos del Mar Sculpture Park, Inc., and ArquitectonicaGeo, joined together to celebrate the beginning of what promises to be a beautiful professional relationship with the City of Miami Beach in the construction of the elegant Altos del Mar Sculpture Park.

The Altos del Mar Sculpture Park will transform a dull, empty lot and grass area into an intricate maze of tall, Florida native trees and plants and accent the locale with sculptures by prominent, well established artists - both of our time and from talented artists of the past. This first outdoor art gallery in Miami Beach will use materials and resources naturally found in the area and will rotate the sculptures periodically in order to offer variety and spontaneity to the many who will attend.

At Valentino Sul Mare Restaurant, City of Miami Beach Mayor Matti Herrera Bower and Altos del Mar President Dr. Marlene Saile signed a formal management agreement in a classic scenery laced with delicate flower centerpieces, crisp, cool champagne, and delicious hors d'oeuvres Hundreds of guests mingled and marveled as to the magnitude of the project and its projected timeline. For an undertaking of its size, it appears that Altos del Mar Sculpture Park should be completed relatively quickly once all final agreements and approvals have been obtained. Looking forward to its grand debut in 2011, residents who live nearby will have their surrounding area revamped from a dark, bare, unoccupied space into a vibrant gallery with trimmed trees, flattering lighting and the pleasure of having a view worthy of a neighborhood so alive with culture, beauty and flair.

Altos del Mar Sculpture Park, Inc. is a non-profit organization that has already made great strides with limited means in a very short period of time. Positive projects such as this require the support and cooperation of all in order to come to fruition. Donations, monetary gifts, and sponsorships are highly encouraged to ensure that the future of the Sculpture Park is as bright as the art it will host.
