Discount Package Makes Brandywine Valley this Summers Hot Spot
WILMINGTON, DE.- A new program offered through the Brandywine Museums & Gardens Alliance (BMGA) will provide visitors with the perfect opportunity to experience the world-class collections, dazzling gardens, and rich heritage of the Brandywine Valley this summer. The Brandywine Treasure Trail promotion will also add sizzle to your summer plans, offering one of the best buys of the season.

The nine members of the BMGA have created a single-rate admission ticket that will give visitors the opportunity to visit all of their venues at a remarkable discount. The nine institutions are: Brandywine River Museum , Delaware Art Museum, Delaware Center for the Contemporary Arts, Delaware Museum of Natural History, Delaware Historical Society & Read House, Hagley Museum and Library, Longwood Gardens , Rockwood Museum , and Winterthur Museum & Country Estate. The museums are all located in the scenic Brandywine Valley area between Wilmington , Delaware and the Kennett Square/Chadds Ford region of Pennsylvania , easily accessible from I-95 and Route 1.

The Brandywine Treasures promotion will provide one-time general admission to all nine sites for a flat rate of $35 for individuals or $75 for a family (2 adults and up to 3 children). The offer represents a savings of $48 for individuals and up to $197 for a family of five off single admission rates for each institution. The promotion includes an admission passport, a special Brandywine Treasure Trail map for children, and prize incentives for those who visit all nine sites during the summer.

Passports will go on sale at all nine locations beginning July 1 and will be valid from July 6 through August 31. Tickets can also be purchased at the Hotel DuPont, the Christiana Hilton, the Greater Wilmington Convention & Visitors Bureau, the Brandywine Convention & Visitors Bureau, and the Chester County Convention & Visitors Bureau, and the Independence Visitors Center in Philadelphia .

Visitors can also enjoy special hotel discounts at the Hotel du Pont and the Hilton Wilmington/Christiana, which will both offer a Brandywine Treasures package including overnight accommodations, breakfast, and the passport ticket. For details on rates and availability.
