Win the Ultimate Frank Lloyd Wright Weekend, Spend Two Nights at Wright's Gardener's Cottage
Toshiko Mori’s Visitor Pavilion is Newest Addition to Frank Lloyd Wright’s Historic Martin House Complex.
BUFFALO, NY.- The Buffalo Niagara Convention & Visitors Bureau is giving Frank Lloyd Wright fans around the world the opportunity to “Win the Ultimate Frank Lloyd Wright Weekend in Buffalo.”

The winner of the contest will receive the extremely rare experience of spending two nights at Frank Lloyd Wright’s Gardener’s Cottage at the Darwin D. Martin House and VIP access to other Wright sites in Buffalo. Wright’s work in Buffalo includes the largest residence he ever designed – the Darwin D. Martin House Complex – as well as the Graycliff Estate, Davidson House, Heath House, Rowing Boathouse and Blue Sky Mausoleum.

Described by National Trust for Historic Preservation President Richard Moe as “a must see destination for preservationists, designers, history buffs, and anyone wishing to see an inspiring example of American design,” Buffalo offers Wright aficionados and architecture enthusiasts an unforgettable experience of truly great American buildings set in great American neighborhoods. The National Trust named Buffalo one of its Dozen Distinctive Destinations for 2009 in recognition of its “goldmine of late 19th/early 20th century urban design.”

The Frank Lloyd Wright Weekend package includes roundtrip airfare for two on Southwest Airlines, a tour of Wright’s Graycliff Estate, two passes to the world renowned Albright-Knox Art Gallery, dinner for two at Bacchus restaurant, dinner for two at the Buffalo Chop House, lunch for two at the Roycroft Inn, the legendary home of the American Arts & Crafts Movement, an Open Air Autobus tour, a Buffalo Tours walking tour, admission to the Burchfield Penney Art Center, and a variety of welcome gifts, including architecture books, DVDs and related memorabilia to remember this special weekend by.

The winning package must be redeemed during the weekend of August 28-30, 2009.
