L.A. Artcore Presents August Highland

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA.- L.A. Artcore presents August Highland. August Highland’s recent paintings are transforming and transcending. He says, "When showing my work to an art consultant, she summoned to her husband and share the works laid before her. I was greatly rewarded by her pure and direct response to my works. My paintings are without resolution. I am satisfied if the artwork can help release the viewer from a stagnant or troubled moment so that he/she can see beyond it."

Highland came to visual art though his studies in literature. Romance languages , Greek, Latin, Hebrew and Aramaic, and Jungian therapy are also influences. At the tender age of sixteen, Highland ventured into the rarified atmosphere of the novel writer. He has completed six novels to date — When The Bough Breaks, Pick Up Sticks, Milk Money, Toxic Playground Materials, and Bullet Proof Nursery.
